Southeast Asia graduation trip: 9 hour drive to Phnom Penh (5)

Thursday we left the hotel around 9am for the long 9 hour journey to Phnom Pen - former 'Pearl of Asia'. After dropping off our suitcases at a Diamond Hotel we were taken on a Cyclo tour, former transportation in the city. We saw Wat Phnom, independence monument and we're dropped off at the palace. We took tuk tuks to Romberg a charity, training restaurant, where we tried local delicacies such as tarantula and red ant beef. The restaurant was in a beautiful old French building.

Arrived after a long journey
